Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Dream Seekers Incorporated ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Admit Verdict ("Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Who We Are
Admit Verdict is a college-essay diagnostic review service operated by Dream Seekers Incorporated. We are an independent company — not affiliated with any college, university, or admissions office.
2. What We Collect
We collect the following information to operate the Service:
- Account information: Your name, email address, and country (provided at sign-up).
- Essay content: The personal statement and any supplemental essays or activities text you submit for review.
- Payment metadata: Transaction identifiers and package type, processed by Stripe. We do not store raw card numbers.
- Usage data: Aggregate, de-identified analytics about how the Service performs (e.g., rubric scores by school — no personally identifiable information).
3. Why We Collect It
Your data is used solely to:
- Generate your requested review (essay text is sent to our LLM provider — see §6).
- Deliver your report and PDF via email.
- Manage your account, credits, and purchase history.
- Respond to support requests.
- Send transactional emails you have requested (receipts, review completion).
- Send optional marketing emails — only if you opted in at sign-up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
4. Data Retention and the 30-Day Essay Purge
We apply a strict data-minimization retention policy for submitted essays:
- Raw essay text (personal statement, supplementals, activities) is automatically and permanently deleted 30 days after submission. This deletion is automated and cannot be reversed.
- Your generated report (scores and written feedback) is retained in your account until you delete it or delete your account.
- Purchase records are retained for as long as legally required for tax and financial compliance.
- De-identified analytics (aggregated rubric scores with no personal identifiers) are retained indefinitely.
You may delete individual reviews at any time from your dashboard (see §8). Deleting a review immediately removes both the essay text and the report for that submission.
5. No AI Training
Your submitted essays are not used to train any AI model. Essay content is sent to our LLM provider solely to generate your review and is not retained by us for any training or model-improvement purpose.
6. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
We use the following third-party services:
- Anthropic (LLM provider): Your essay text is transmitted to Anthropic Claude to generate your review. Anthropic's use of API data is governed by their Privacy Policy. We do not authorize Anthropic to use your data for model training under our API agreement.
- Stripe (payments): Payment processing. Stripe receives billing details; we receive only transaction confirmation and metadata.
- SendGrid (transactional email): Used to deliver receipts and review completion notifications. We share only your email address and name for delivery purposes.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third party for advertising, marketing, or any other commercial purpose.
7. COPPA — Children Under 13
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will promptly delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information to us, please contact us at privacy@admitverdict.com.
8. Your Rights — How to Delete Your Data
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data.
- Delete a specific review: Go to your dashboard, open any completed review, and use the "Delete this review" option. This immediately removes the essay text and generated report for that review.
- Delete your entire account: Go to Account Settings and use the "Delete Account" option. This anonymizes your email and name and permanently nulls all essay content across all your reviews.
- Data access or correction requests: Email us at privacy@admitverdict.com. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Security
We store data on Supabase infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Access to your data is controlled by row-level security policies and your authenticated session. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
